Custom Dining Room Furniture
A dining table is often the largest single piece of furniture in a home, and the one around which the most time is spent together. Its size, shape and surface decide how a room feels at every meal.
We design custom dining furniture as a set — table, chairs, storage and lighting — so that proportions, materials and light work together.

Round, rectangular or oval
Round tables put everyone in conversation and suit square rooms; rectangular tables seat more people along a narrower room; ovals soften a long table and ease circulation around the ends. We choose the shape from the room and from how you entertain.
Size follows the number of places and the clearance needed to pull chairs out comfortably. We draw both on your plan before anything is specified.
Stone or timber
Stone tops bring weight and pattern and are selected by slab so that the veining sits well on the table. Timber tops are warmer to the touch and can be sequenced so that grain flows across leaves. Each has practical considerations — we discuss care and durability openly.
Light above the table
A pendant set to the table’s shape and height frames the table and lights every place evenly. We coordinate pendant size, drop and dimming with the rest of the room’s lighting.
Seating for how you entertain
Some households dine as four most evenings and twelve a few times a year. Others host large gatherings every week. We design for the real pattern: a table that seats the family comfortably with room to extend, or a larger table with chairs that can move to other rooms when not needed.
Chairs deserve as much attention as the table. Seat height must suit the table’s apron and top thickness, arms must clear the underside, and the number of chairs must leave comfortable elbow room — typically more space per person than standard catalogues allow.

Questions
How much space do I need around a dining table?
Enough to pull chairs out and walk behind seated guests. We check clearances on your floor plan before sizing the table.
Is a marble dining table practical?
Marble is beautiful but can mark and etch. Some stones and engineered surfaces are more resistant. We explain the options and care requirements so you can choose knowingly.
Can you make chairs to match an existing table?
Yes. We can design chairs to suit an existing table’s height, style and materials.
Can a custom dining table extend?
Yes. Extending mechanisms, separate leaves and pairs of tables that join are all possible. Each affects the base design and the stone or timber selection, so we decide on extension at the start.
