Metal

A fine line that defines the edge.

Bronze-toned and dark metals used sparingly — as frames, inlays and bases.

Character & use

Metal works best in small quantities. A slender bronze-toned inlay can articulate the edge of a timber wall; a dark metal frame can make a glass cabinet appear to float. We use metal to draw lines, not to fill surfaces.

Finishes range from warm brushed tones to deep, near-black patinas. Each is sampled alongside the timber and stone it will sit against, as metal finishes shift noticeably under warm and cool lighting.
