Living room in walnut and linen: a timber tea table, an armchair, an upholstered daybed and integrated walnut cabinetry
Design visualisation

The Residence

The Walnut Residence uses one timber throughout — a warm walnut — for furniture, door frames and built-in cabinetry, set against warm white walls and a pale rug.

Arranged symmetrically around a walnut tea table, the room is designed for sitting, talking and taking tea rather than for display.

Project Overview

A walnut armchair with linen cushions and a tufted daybed face each other across a two-tier walnut tea table. A low media cabinet with concealed lighting runs beneath the screen wall.

At the side, full-height walnut cabinetry houses storage and a laundry niche, keeping utilities within the same calm composition as the living room.

Design Language

Symmetry, a single timber and concealed light. Walnut frames give the room its rhythm; linen and wool soften it.

Materials

Walnut furniture and cabinetry, linen upholstery, a pale wool-look rug and warm white walls.
